  • By purchasing this product, you accept and agree to our Terms & Conditions and responses to the Frequently Asked Questions.

  • Our slime is strictly for children age 4+.

When it comes to our slime there are several important warnings and precautions to keep in mind to ensure safe enjoyment:

    • Adult Supervision: Always supervise young children when they are playing with slime to prevent ingestion or misuse of the product. Young children may not understand the potential hazards associated with slime, so it's important for adults to be present and provide guidance.

    • Avoid Ingestion: Slime is not meant to be eaten. It's essential to educate children about the importance of not putting slime in their mouths or ingesting any part of it. Some slimes may contain ingredients that could be harmful if ingested.

    • Allergic Reactions: Be aware of any allergies to ingredients commonly found in slime, such as glue or certain types of scents. If you or your child has a known allergy, carefully read the product label and avoid using slimes that contain allergens.

    • Skin Sensitivity: Some people may experience skin irritation or allergic reactions when handling certain types of slime, especially those containing ingredients like borax or certain fragrances. If you notice any redness, itching, or irritation on the skin, discontinue use immediately and wash the affected area with soap and water.

    • Avoid Contact with Eyes: Slime should not come into contact with the eyes. If accidental eye contact occurs, rinse the eyes thoroughly with water and seek medical attention if irritation persists.

    • Staining: Some slime products may contain colorants that can stain clothing, furniture, or surfaces. Use slime in a designated area that is easy to clean, and avoid contact with porous materials or delicate fabrics.

    • Storage: Store slime properly in a sealed container or resealable bag when not in use to prevent it from drying out or becoming contaminated with dust or debris. Keep slime away from pets and small children who may accidentally ingest it.

    • Dispose Properly: When disposing of slime, do not pour it down the drain as it can cause plumbing issues. Instead, dispose of it in the trash or according to local waste disposal guidelines.

By following these warnings and precautions, you can enjoy playing with slime safely and minimize the risk of accidents or adverse reactions. It's essential to use slime responsibly and to educate children about proper handling and safety measures.

  • Are the science classes only for children who are interested in science?
No. Our science classes are designed to be enjoyed by any child. Young children are naturally curious and science is well suited to learners with a sense of curiosity and wanting to discover how things work, fix problems and just being creative in understanding the world around them.
  • Are parents / guardians required to stay for the classes?
Yes. Parents/guardians are required to be present and wait in the foyer or somewhere close by within the premises whilst the class is operating.
  • Are parents / guardians required to participate or assist the child with the class?
Our aim is to promote independence through our structured science experiments. This is to mimic a school environment in preparation for the school years ahead. However, we do understand that it may take a while for some children to settle into the classes. If this is the case, parents are welcome to assist the child in the class until their child is settled.
  • Are the science experiments safe for children?
Yes. All class experiments have been carefully designed to adhere to strict safety standards. All classes are fully supervised by a qualified adult scientist with a current working with children’s check and a current first aid certificate.
  • Will all the classes have the same teacher?
Yes. This is to ensure familiarity for the children. In the event that the teacher is unwell or unable to attend, parents will be notified and either a suitable or equivalently qualified teacher will fill in.
  • Does the child need to enrol for the entire term or can the child attend only a few classes on an ad-hoc basis?
Since places are limited, we require children to enrol and pay fees for the entire term. If a child attends only a few select classes, full term fees are still required to be paid.
  • Is a free trial class available for the weekly classes?
No. This is because we only have a limited number of places available for weekly classes. Also, we do need to know the final number of children attending the class to ensure there is sufficient material prepared for each child to conduct the science experiments. We do however offer parents/guardians the opportunity to "Come & See" one of our weekly classes with their child to observe a class in order to get a better idea of our program. Please contact us if you would like to "Come & See" a class. Our school holiday science workshops are conducted in a similar manner to the weekly classes in our school term program. This means our workshops can also provide children and parents the perfect opportunity to experience what our term classes are like before committing to our term program.
  • If the child is absent for a class, are make up classes available?"
No. If the child is absent for a class, we currently do not offer any make up classes. We hope to offer this service in the future.
  • Is there a snack time for children during the class?
No. This is so that we are able to make the most of the time. We ask parents/guardians to ensure children are well fed before the session. We only suggest children bring personal drink bottles of water.
  • Are there toilet facilities available on the premises?
Yes. Please ensure the child has been to the toilet prior to the class. If the child needs to use the toilet facilities during the class, the parent/guardian will be contacted to escort the child.
  • How many children are there in a typical class?
We aim to keep our class sizes small so that there is typically 8 children per class to ensure each child receives the appropriate amount of attention from the instructor to conduct the science experiments/activities successfully. However, we have set a maximum number of 12 children per class.
  • When are the school holiday workshop dates usually released?
Our school holiday workshop dates are usually realeased in the middle of the term. If you would like to be notified as soon as we have confirmed the dates for our popular holiday workshops, please complete the workshop form or contact us.
